Displaced women seeking refuge in Nkongsamba receive support for their agricultural ventures.

Category : Actualité , Nos activités

The women are drawn from eight common initiative groups and have been given various materials which include wheelbarrows, barrows and grinding mills.

They have received a one year intensive training on methods of cultivating, processing and commercializing their agricultural products.

The efforts of the farmers are being supported through a project known as, ‘Amplification of economic and social autonomisation of internally displaced women from the North West and South West regions of Cameroon through various trainings’.

It was sponsored entirely by Canada, from its inception in 2023.
Later on, the project was co-funded by Dynamic Femmes, which is in charge of three of the beneficiary common initiative groups.

During the ceremony to hand over the items, the president of Dynamic Femmes, Claudine Siewe saluted the efforts of members of her organization toward the acquisition of parcels of land and following up the farming groups, which she described as daunting tasks.

Canada’s High Commissioner to Cameroon, Lorraine Anderson who was present during the ceremony to hand over the agric inputs, encouraged the women to put their knowledge into practice, and step up their efforts so as to increase productivity.

Monthly projects coordination and evaluation meeting

Category : Actualité , Nos activités

On Thursday 30th January at Dynamic Femmes, we had a meeting with all the project cordinators of all on-going projects we currently have.
The aim of the meeting was to evaluate how far the projects have gone, the activities carried out under these projects, the difficulties encountered, recommendations and planning for the next month.

It is important to note that this was the first meeting of its kind for the month of January and it is envisaged to be held every month to ensure accountability.

It should be noted that, in every organisation, there must be cordination, supervision and evaluation for workers to do their work diligently. In the absense of this, you can work throughout but your objectives will not be attained.

A big shout out to the DynamicFemmsofficielle team members for a job well done.

Dynamic Femmes and it’s five partners come together to deliberate on the task ahead.

Partners working together with Dynamic Femmes on the project « Pledges For the Developement of Politics and the Adoption of a Law in Favour of Safe Abortion Access in Cameroon » came together in Nkongsamba on wednesday 22nd January 2025 for a Working session, to discuss and dispatch work tasks for the collection of data on the practice of clandestine abortions in Cameroon.

During the meeting, Participants were briefed on the work they have to do on the field.

our partners and students planting trees

Operation one tree for every child.

As the problem of global warming and desertification persist throughout the world, experts have advised that planting of trees is the ultimate solution. To this effect, Dynamic Femmes despite being a civil society association drafted a project which encourages the planting of tree starting from the local level.

In 2024, we had some activities sponsored by some of our foreign partners Global Edu Pal. The activities consisted of planting trees and distributing materials that will be used to take care of these plants. We followed up this project and we can happily say that despite the fact that some of the trees did not survive, a majority of them have all grown up now.

This year 2025, the foreign couples still assisted us in implementing this project which we call the second edition of the “Nkongsamba Ville Vert project”. The concept did not change. We planted trees and gave the population the materials to enable them take good care of the plants, followed by a sensitization campaign. This activities took place on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th January 2025 at Lycee Manenguba and a public primary school known as group 6 A and B Bonangoh in Nkongsamba.

The project aims to fight desertification and global warming at the local level through planting of trees in different communities, sensitizing the population on the importance of trees to the echo system and how to take care of the trees so that they can grow well.
We are hoping that in years to come, we would have created a great impact in the lives of the children encouraging them to plant trees where ever they go. We equally hope to boast of a stable climate in Nkongsamba

As a civil society organization, Dynamic Femmes grabbed the opportunity to reach out to vulnerable persons in the community where the trees were planted by distributing cloths and shoes.

Materials such as cutlasses, buckets, watering cans and many more were equally given to the members of the community to enable them take good care of the plants.

Pledge for the development of policies and adoption of a law in favor to safe abortion access in Cameroon

In Cameroon, it is difficult to say how many girls and women die or develop very complicated health problems as a result of clandestine abortion unless one has conducted a thorough research and gotten the right statistics. Getting these statistics right is a great problem because for some reasons, people don’t talk about their abortion experiences. These reasons include the fact that, abortion is an illegal practice in Cameroon and so victims feel intimidated and fear being incarcerated.

Another reason which has been observed as to why people hardly speak about abortion experiences in the society if because of religion, cultural and family background restriction. The fear of being looked down on by the society because one committed an abortion pushes victims to clandestine abortion.

In a study published by the international federation of gynecologist and obstetrics abbreviated as FIGO, they state that, “legal restrictions on abortion do not reduce the problem of abortions but rather pave way for more abortions that are unsafe. Organizations and groups of people have embarked on a journey of research on this particular topic but no matter how they try; the results have not been fully satisfying. This is where Dynamic femmes steps in.

Amplify Change has sponsored a project with Dynamic Femmes being the main actor. This project aims to pledge for laws and policies that will enable women and girls have access to safe abortion there by fighting the problem of clandestine abortion in Cameroon. During this project, Dynamic Femmes aims to equip the team and key actors of the project with essential knowledge on the concept of “Do No Harm”. This means that they should be able to handle cases of post clandestine abortion without making the victims feel responsible or guilty of their current situation. Reach out to as many girls and woman as possible who have lived the horror of clandestine abortion with the intention of recording enough statistics that other projects have not been able to attain. Dynamic Femmes will equally be creative in their communication strategies, using mean stream Medias and social Media. The result of this project is to enable law makers in Cameroon to see reasons why safe abortion access is a must and not an option.
